I still remember when driving my first car turbocharged, it was great to feel the acceleration and the force that gave to the engine! Each turbocharged engine, has extra power by recycling the hot air from the conbustion and reusing it in the next piston cycle gives a boost to the engine! Good morning friends, we all talk about trubos and turbo chargers! Well...do we really know what it is, or...what is it's function? Here's a little description of the functions of a turbo: The turbo, has the particularity of the force with which the exhaust gases go to drive a turbine placed in the exhaust manifold outlet, said turbine is attached by a shaft to a compressor. The compressor inlet is positioned in the intake manifold, with which it transmits rotary movement to the turbine via a common shaft, the compressor raises the pressure of air entering through the filter and gets power from the engine improves. The driven turbo exhaust reaches speeds over 100,000 rpm, therefore, we must take into account the system of lubrication of the bearings which support the common axis of the impellers of the turbine and compressor.
